  Notes	From Jane Sanderman Mason, correspondent, note of 11 July 2023 Times Union (New York) Tuesday 31Mar1914 p9 Bayshore. March 31. Mrs. Mary E. Doxsee, wife of William F. G. Doxsee, died of peritonitis which developed following an operation for appendicitis, on Sunday in Brentwood. Mrs. Doxsee was about sixty years old. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Carl Doxsee, professor of Greek in the University of Kansas and Raymond Doxsee of this village. Funeral services will be held in the Bayshore Methodist Church, of which Mrs. Doxsee was a member, at 2 o'clock tomorrow by the Rev. D. D. Irvine. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Doxsee is quite ill at his home with heart trouble.
