It is supposed to be George L. Phillips married to Ann Mould, but the H/H is Elsworth Phillips instead of George. Everything that Ancestry reference is that they state Elsworth is in fact George, but his age is off and I can find no other Elsworth Phillips in Sullivan County that would corroborate him. It is almost like Elsworth stood in for George for this census, but the funny thing is that the obits of their children state that their parents are George and Ann Mould Phillips. Further on in the cemetery records, these children are credited to George and Ann with no mention of any Elsworth. I would tend to agree that this is in fact George, but have no rational explanation as to why he is called Elsworth instead of George. George's middle initial is L. so that doesn't stand for Elsworth either. Also the DOB of Elsworth doesn't match the DOB: of George in his cemetery records. Anna matches up perfectly with the 1910 census. Makes me wonder if it was her first marriage, but then why would the kids say George was their father? I guess it is possible that Ann remarried to George and George raised the kids as his own. I am going to write it up and let you decide what is going on here. One other thing. When I click on Elsworth's link in 1900, all the reference I get are for George L. Phillips.
